This September Bertie will be taking part in Parallel London. This is the world’s first fully inclusive push/run event. It is now in its second year and takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Bertie to fly the flag for children with muscular dystrophy. Last year (2016), Bertie and Alison (mum) completed the 5K challenge together and raised a staggering £1286.09 for Muscular Dystrophy UK and the fight to fund a cure.In 2017, Bertie is doing it again! This time, courageous Bertie is taking on the 1K super sensory challenge by himself. He is fundraising for AbleChildAfrica, supporting their amazing projects to help educate disabled children in some of the poorest countries in the world. You can make a difference too. Donate here
